Impossible to overstate how pleased I am with LTD!

I really can't say enough about the wonderful experience that I had working with Leisure Time Decks. From my initial call through every interaction I have had with them. They had been patient, understanding, attentive, thorough and truly a joy to work with. I have been planning on building a deck for five years and had extremely high expectation and a tight budget. I got estimates from 10 different companies before I made my decision and couldn't be happier that I choose LTD.

I choose them because they seemed committed to going beyond code, and wanted to do the best job possible. The used 2 X 10’s instead of 2 X8’s like everybody else, the used 6 X 6’s instead of 4 X 4’s for the posts, they used a really beautiful rail system instead of the standard. They came on time. Finished the job at the speed of lightening and came back to fix any issues I perceived (large and small). Their crew is fast, clean, friendly and they take great pride in doing a job right. The quality of their work is exceptional and I know that I added a ton of value to my home by choosing the right company. They finished precisely on budget and did everything they said they would and so much more! Thank you John, Joel and your whole team! You guys did an OUTSTANDING job!!!

I pride myself in trying to save money at every turn, so usually I will try to find a low cost solution for all my needs, but this was a time I was compelled to pay a little bit more, because I was impressed with their approach to the estimate process. They called me out of the blue one day to see if I wanted to stop by to see a project they were working on, they sent me a 3D rendering of the deck, they called me back in a timely manner and never pressured me in any way. And for all that, the weren't the lowest estimate, but hey surely weren't the highest either.

I often times laugh because I know I can be a pain as a client. I want everything perfect, but don't want to spend any money. Most contractors will look at me like I am crazy or explain that I can't have it all. John and Joel, did the exact opposite, they made me feel like my suggestions were good suggestions they listened, they gave sound explanations of what they were doing and they did exactly what they said they would time and time again.

Beautiful craftsmanship on a custom-designed deck
Joel Harper/Leisure Time Decks and his crew did a wonderful job, and I am extremely pleased with their custom work. I wanted a deck that wrapped around my screened porch and back of the house, and after showing Joel my idea he provided me with a graphic blueprint that was exactly what I wanted. His quote was reasonably priced, and his crew arrived promptly and within 3 days it was done! Their craftsmanship is excellent - so thank you guys!

Harper Construction is a first class company. They came out discussed the project, gave me some alternatives and price estimates while they were on site. They then sent me a detailed written price quote and an estimated start date. They actually started a little early and did the work on schedule. The quality of the work was excellent and did a nice job of cleaning up too. I would highly recommend Harper Construction and plan to use them again.

They were very professional and easy to work with. They listened to my ideas and understood EXACTLY what I was interested in creating with my front porch. Our experience was excellent and I would feel comfortable recommending Joel and his team to anyone. We had a challenging deck issue to try to bring a 2nd floor deck to a pool below with little access. Joel came up with a design that lowered the deck and brought the entertainment area from the 2nd floor to the backyard. They also completely replaced a rotting fence with a shadowbox and arched design. The transformation of our backyard space is amazing. Joel and his guys provided excellent quality, design services and completed the job neatly and quickly. We will definitely use their services again and recommend them to our friends and family.

Joel built a deck in the backyard and steps leading to the front door. <br />My wife and I had a concept of what we wanted the deck to look like. Joel and his crew built a deck just like we wanted. My neghibor said it best - "that deck is beautifull." I also got Joel to re build my front steps that were not built correectly. The steps are beautifull too.

We hired Joel to install a cedar split rail fence. He came out and walked the property and gave us a good bid. He and his crew showed up on time and worked straight through the day. They were clean and respectful.
